Our Florence expedition kept us mesmerized at almost every step as we walked hand in hand to explore every corner of the Florence. Be it the serenity of enjoying some great music in the moon lit night or climbing for Michelangelo Square, every moment was well explored. Chellarkovil is a beautiful spot, traced on the way while we were driving back from Munnar to Thekkady, on Munnar – Kumily road. Rather just 30min before hitting Thekkady, we were amused by this scintillating place, with originating waterfalls. No crowds gave us all the more pleasant welcome here. It is around 15kms from Kumily town, and it overlooks the small villages and valleys of Tamil Nadu.

One of the most scenic places close to 15kms from Munnar is Eravikulam National Park, a region famous for its Nilgiri Tahr. Nilgiri Tahr is basically a goat like species, which is endangered as of now. And hence, it holds special importance as a National park to protect the endangered species. Goa in off- season? It was the question everyone was throwing at us when we shared our plans to visit GOA in the first week of August with our then to-be-turning 1 year old toddler. GOA is vibrant from Oct – May and then goes in hibernation mode for 4 months as the rains progresses and leaves zero possibility for Water sports and Shacks to remain open. So the tourist inflows drops by 75%-80%, and only those who want some calm rainy-beachy outing plan then. Well, we were in this category!

Well, its so rich in the history & wonder world, that anyone visiting Italy, specially Tuscany, finds it as an incredible piece of engineering!#FOTW was going to Cinque Terre from Florence (Firenze) and so we had to stop over for some 3hours at Pisa and adore the work here which is full of history.
